Global Intercept Welcomes BELLAVISTA EXPLORER to the Maldives

Global Intercept is pleased to have provided shipping agency and operational coordination for BELLAVISTA EXPLORER during her recent call in the Maldives for a ship-to-ship (STS) operation.

BELLAVISTA EXPLORER arrived in the Maldives from Singapore at 12:00 on 17 September 2026. Following completion of the planned STS operation and associated vessel formalities, she departed at 07:15 on 19 September 2026, continuing her voyage with Houston, Texas as her final port of call.

A Major LPG Carrier Calling in the Maldives

BELLAVISTA EXPLORER is an LPG carrier with an overall length of 229.98 metres, a beam of 36.60 metres and cargo tank capacity of approximately 88,855 cubic metres. The vessel has a summer deadweight of 57,555 tonnes and was delivered in July 2021. She sails under the Marshall Islands flag and is classed by DNV.

Her size and cargo capacity place BELLAVISTA EXPLORER within the VLGC class of LPG carriers, making her call another significant energy-sector vessel operation supported by Global Intercept in Maldives waters.

During the call, BELLAVISTA EXPLORER conducted an STS operation, with Global Intercept providing local shipping agency and operational coordination.

The operation involved close coordination between the vessels, operators, mooring personnel, local service providers and relevant authorities to support an efficient and orderly vessel turnaround.

From arrival to departure, BELLAVISTA EXPLORER remained in Maldives waters for approximately 43 hours.
